Essentialkrabi.com was set up by a group of young, well-educated Thai people who hail from both the local area and the capital city, Bangkok. A mutual love of Lanta Island and the desire to stay permanently led to the inception of a tour agency called "Lanta Guide"located in Saladan Town.

Essentialkrabi.com is a sub-division of the overall business, and aims to provide accurate and user-friendly information together with an online booking service for accommodation and activities on Krabi Town, Koh Lanta, Koh Ngai, Koh phi phi, Ao Nang and Rai Lay Bay
