The heaven of rock climber nested near Krabi Town but can access by longtail boats from Krabi and Ao Nang only. This small peninsula is tight bear hug from towering cliffs made it separate from outside world, no road, no car and no nothing can spoiled. Inside is the treasure of nature with beautiful beaches, rainforest mountain with cave, high vertical limestone cliffs and lagoon in the jungle.

Still be the first rank after it was hit hard by Tsunami in 2004, now this island is back on its feet. The room reservation requires more than half a year to fit in. A few hours ferry is not the obstacles for travelers that fill it up either from Phuket and Krabi. That is not the affect from the hit of “The Beach” movie but as its own jewels of sparkling turquoise sea, glass clear water, green towering cliffs and powder white sand beach.

Some can disappointed with the overflow of tourists. Once loaded the photos to your PC it can't deny that it was one of the best of your screensaver.

Newbie but growing up very fast after a few five stars resort step on the island in last few years. This 40 kms long narrow island is very rich of beaches. Totally nine lied from north to south and all face the west side that fully absorbs the sunset. It was rate as the most romantic sunset place with the backdrop of horizontal sea and Phi Phi Island.

The island is not developed yet, no department store or even brand name fast food shop, just only a few 7/11 opened last year. This makes it still virgin and truly unspoiled. One of the island’s jewel is Hin Daeng Hin Muong – world class dive sites that more convenience to access from Koh Lanta.

About 40 kms down south from Koh Lanta, access here needs more patients with a few connections, either the road to Trang Province or ferrying to Koh Lanta and another via long tail or speed boats. But the rewards are your ideal isolate and truly cast away with your own private beach with a few neighbor. Withal, a square mile of bedded coral reefs offshore is just for you.
